A Mantra is a religious or mystical syllable or poem, typically from the Sanskrit language. Mantras originated in the Vedic religion of India and became an integral part of the Vedic Astrology. It is believed that a mantra when pronounced in the right way and certain technique, then one can put in tune with the cosmos. Each mantra or word is a sound pattern that suggests to the mind the meaning inherent in it and the mind immediately responds. Mantra is said to be the phonetic manifestation of the supreme reality. When recited properly they are considered to protect the person from the bad effects of those planets. Similarly mantras protect humans from different malefic effects of other evil elements. It is said that the Guru is the best person to find the mantra suitable for the seeker.
